Thursdays 5:00pm-6:45pm (Ages 5-17)
Our friendly, expert tutors provide a strong foundation in all aspects of theatre, including physical and movement theatre, improvisation and devising, mime, puppetry and script work. Past productions include Bugsy Malone and Wind in the Willows. The brilliant atmosphere and enthusiasm of all involved saw us short listed for a Norfolk Arts Award in 2019. No experience is needed, so come along to learn new things and have lots of fun.

Get involved in our exciting adult classes. Tutors work with the group on improvisation and different styles of theatre, with sessions including script work from contemporary and classical plays. Content is tailored to meet the interests of the group and our most important aim is to ensure members get the opportunity to perform on stage and have a wonderful experience.

Our adult community singing group is all about coming together to sing, have fun and socialise. They learn and perform everything from traditional folk songs and sea shanties to jazz and popular songs from across the decades.

LANZ offers enjoyable and welcoming sessions. We have been established in Great Yarmouth for 20 years offering Ballroom and Latin dance classes for beginners and intermediates. Proprietors Nigel Smith and wife Larinda had an amateur competing career spanning two decades winning numerous titles and championships and represented England before turning professional in 1996.

Fabba is a theatre company for adults with learning disabilities based at the Seagull Theatre in Lowestoft and St George’s Theatre, Great Yarmouth.
They aim to provide opportunities to learn drama skills, gain confidence, take ownership of a project and perform on stage.
They started their second group at St George’s Theatre in January 2015. They performed their first production, Treasure Island in June 2015 and followed it with Macbeth in September 2015.

Has your partner passed away or gone into care? Or are you just lonely and in need of companionship? This friendly group meets in our Community Café every other Wednesday and is for anyone alone and looking for some pleasant chat and new friendships. It’s a chance to share memories and making some new ones.

If you enjoy knitting or stitching then St George’s Community Café is the place to be on Mondays. Everyone is welcome. As well as attending our weekly sessions, you would also be welcome to come to our WOOL THEATRE OPEN DAY, held every second Wednesday of the month from 10.30am to 12.30pm where we discuss and compare knitting materials and enjoy tea, coffee, cake and a chat.
